One way to begin to scrutinize the self is by allowing preschool children to recreate themselves in puppet form out of a paper bag. Let each child decorate their puppet with crayons, markers, construction paper cut outs, yarn for hair, and anyone else they see fit.

In this craft, children will generate a placemat that can be used at snack time for the remainder of the year. To begin, give each child a piece of white paper. Next, have them dip their hand in their popular color of paint and place a handprint on the center of the paper.
After washing the paint from their hand, the children can decorate the placemats to their desire with stickers, markets, paint, crayons, or anyone else found in the craft contribute room. Take some paper bags or small gift bags with handles and have the kids draw eyes, nose, and mouth on the surface for the bunny rabbit. Cut out ears from templates, let the kids color these, and glue them onto the bag. The kids now have something to gather their Easter eggs in.

Paint paper plates yellow or glue yellow construction paper or tissue paper onto them.
