www.lovetosew.com This video guides you with step-by-step instructions on how to make an adorable fabric handprint turkey that will last a life time. Together, you and your child can draw, sew curves, pick out fabric, and hand sew buttons! One of the most popular Thanksgiving crafts for kids is a paper turkey, made from tracing their hands. I still have every paper craft my children have made me, but paper crafts can rip and ruin. So when my student Elena wanted to design and make a fabric hand turkey craft, I jumped on that opportunity right away. It brought back memories watching her trace her hand for the pattern. So while your children are young, why not sew up a fabric turkey from your child's handprint? Make sure they sign and date the back.
